L-Arginine is an amino acid that is specifically incorporated into the semi-essential amino acids. The body-produced amount of L-arginine is generally not sufficient to cover the actual daily requirement of this unique amino acid. Therefore, it should be absorbed both through the food and additionally via food supplements. The amino acid is, among other things, very important for the control of the immune system, in addition to the blood vessels and the regulation of the blood glucose gel. In addition, the amino acid L-arginine is involved in the synthesis of different growth hormones, as well as in the distribution of these hormones. L-arginine thus contributes to the formation and maintenance of general healthy tissue, as well as especially of muscle tissue.
